Andy & Shirley Rogers

Causeway Coast, Northern Ireland

Hello!

If we haven’t met yet, we are Andy and Shirley Rogers.

We are increasingly getting invitations from all over the place outside of our existing network of connections and one of the common questions we hear asked is: “do these guys have a website?”

If that’s you – here it is!

Below, you’ll find our respective bios and some very kind things other people have said.

Any questions please get in touch.

About Us

OK, here’s the one-liner: I write songs, I record them, I sing them around the planet in churches, bars, people’s houses and folks tell me they find healing, peace and freedom in them.

And here’s the official bio written in the 3rd person 🙂

Andy Rogers is a singer songwriter and worship leader from the Causeway Coast of Ireland with songs published and recordings produced on CMG Capitol & Integrity Music.

An artist on Integrity’s original ‘New Celts’ album (along with Robin Mark, Brian Houston & Joanne Hogg) and more recently on The Cave Sessions (live recordings in an Irish cave), his style has been described as ‘Ethno-Celt’ – a mix of acoustic ethnic sounds fused with contemporary musical sensibilities.

His music has taken him throughout Ireland and many countries beyond to such diverse venues as churches and conferences to the nightclubs of Eastern Europe, the refugee camps of Greece and even the brothels of Thailand!

And his ongoing ‘House Concert World Tour‘ continues to bring live ‘ethno-celt’ folk worship music and story telling into people’s living rooms around the planet!

He passionately believes that when people worship and experience the presence of God then amazing things happen – and it doesn’t have to be ‘in church’.

He has been part of the pioneering team at Causeway Coast Vineyard since 1999.

He has also created OpenSourceSongs.com, a global songwriting collective where song writers and worship leaders collaborate freely on an ‘open source’ basis with their ideas.

Speaker, Teacher

For over 25 years, Shirley has helped to pioneer and develop Women’s Ministries: organising events and retreats; teaching and training; leading groups and developing courses.

After completing Encounter School of Mission (a Causeway Coast Vineyard supernatural ministry program), Shirley served as a group leader mentoring and developing students.

Shirley has spoken at churches and events at home in Northern Ireland and away, including England, France, Lithuania, Canada and New Zealand.

She has also trained in and facilitated Sozo ministry.

A prolific journal writer she shares some of her output on her blog here.

Together we have led small groups, both as a couple and individually, for almost 30 years and have helped to develop other leaders and launched other groups. For several years we have acted as Small Group Coaches and Overseers within our home church, Causeway Coast Vineyard.

We have both travelled on and led mission teams and ministry trips to many countries including Iceland, France, Portugal, Greece, Lithuania, Poland, Norway, Denmark, Holland, Thailand, India, Dubai, New Zealand, Canada, USA and Israel.

What Others Are Saying...

Alistair Petrie:
Andy is one of those rare music and worship leaders who has such a heart for the Lord that the creativity, sensitivity, and clarity of what he shares through worship reflects the heart of God and significantly impacts the teaching, sharing, and and lasting effect of each venue.

His ministry is birthed in humility and holiness yet works with a protocol that releases the Counsel of God in our midst. We highly commend the ministry of Andy Rogers.

Neil & Janet Young:
Andy and Shirley Rogers are people that are marked by a deep love for Jesus and a desire to serve Him wherever they go.

They are people who model humility, hunger and a heart to spend their lives following the leading of the Holy Spirit.

It’s from this place that they have ministered with authority both in their home town and in many other contexts.

They are a gift to us and a blessing to many.

Kathryn Scott:

'I've known Andy for 18 years - both as a worship leader in the church I attended as a teenager, and then as a friend and co-leader as we grew a little older together.

He is one of the most servant-hearted people I know. Few understand, and live out true worship like Andy - and I feel honored to serve with him because of it!

If you ever get the chance to have him come and lead at your church - or to listen to the songs that he has been writing - or to input as he explores the whole idea of writing as an online community (OpenSourceSongs.com) - I cannot more highly recommend that you jump at it. Andy really is one in a million - he's the real deal.

Margaret Clarke:
Andy is one of the most sensitive worship leaders I know and has served and led worship in large events where thousands have gathered to pray, to leading worship at conferences and even in our living room.

Andy not only regularly leads worship in prayer meetings in Stormont; our government buildings; but he also brings valuable insight and perspective to the Stormont Prayer planning team.

What I appreciate about Andy is his passion for the Lord, his servant heart, how he comes alongside in any situation not pushing his own agenda and his ability to work sensitively across a very broad spectrum of churches. Andy is someone I trust, a great guy!

Shirley has been a real blessing to me and many others. Her sensitivity to the Lord, her prophetic gifting and her compassion and heart of love for people has been both an inspiration and encouragement.

Shirley is someone I see who puts into practice loving the Lord with her whole heart and loving those He puts on her path. Her journaling and reflections have been and are full of rich ‘nuggets’ of grace and insight.
Andy and Shirley Rogers are two treasures!

Rose & Kevin Sambrook:
It has been our great privilege to know Andy and Shirley Rogers for over twenty years as friends and colleagues in ministry.

Andy has partnered with us, leading worship and speaking, edifying the Body of Christ at major national and international events and gatherings we have hosted through the years.

Shirley is a gifted speaker and minister having been an instrument of healing in the lives of many.

They are a real blessing to us and the many thousands they have touched.

We appreciate them dearly, and their seasoned, sensitive ministry for Christ continues to be a great blessing to all.

We have no hesitation in recommending them to the wider Body of Christ and believe that they will be as great a blessing to others as they have been to us.

Tori Sheppard:
Shirley Rogers has been an integral part of the development of the Women’s Ministry at Causeway Coast Vineyard.

For many years she has been a teacher and mobiliser of women, connecting them to their unique design and destiny.

She has been a strong pastoral leader of small groups, led multiple courses and ministry training, been a key seminar speaker at our annual women’s conference of 1000 women from all around the world and other women’s events, written beautifully for our blog and has played a key role in helping to shape our ministry ideas and oversee our leaders.

Shirley’s ministry has been wide and far reaching, and people’s lives have been changed by her depth and intimate relationship with Jesus.

Many hearts and minds have been transformed by the presence and power of God in her teaching, writing, prayer ministry, leadership and the powerful testimony of her life.

Andrew & Mandy Myatt:
Andy and Shirley are a warm, loving and deeply spiritual couple.

They have ministered to us here in Oxford and when we've stayed in their home.

I come away from my times with them encouraged and closer to Jesus.

There is a strong prophetic edge to what they do and they minister with wisdom and gentleness.

Joanne Hogg:
I am so blessed and thankful to know this special couple.

They are definitely on my list of “what would I ever do without you” friends.

Together, they are encouragers, pioneers, wise and compassionate, and they both have big hearts and a great sense of humour.

Chantel Daniels:
It has been wonderful to have Shirley speak at our women's group and at our church service.

What she shared was Biblical, applicable and relevant and this alongside her honest storytelling spoke to many in our church.

I had someone mention to me again recently how Shirley praying for her afterwards impacted her so deeply.

Shirley loves Jesus and His presence and carries that wherever she goes, it is brilliant to have her to speak at events or in church.
